Expectation

If the weather keeps warm , it seems I can have this Kohleria seedling in bloom within a couple weeks. This is the first-born of all my Kohleria seedlings. This plant is less than 25 cm height but with many flower buds, the most is 5 per single stalk as I can see now. Hopefully the flower pattern will be ok as this one may be a heavy bloomer.

I like the stalk of Kohleria that can carry buds 2-3cm away the leaf axil because this will help all flowers to stand upright to show on above the foliage. Expecially when the Kohleria is a floribunda, this kind of stalk will perform all bloom well.

Marina & Victorian Treasure SP

Two violets are in bloom, I did not pay much attention on my violets since I started to grow other gesneriads with volume. Poor violets. XD

Victorian Treasure Sport (Should be a chimera but I got it sport, still pretty nice)

Strep. "Crystal Ice" x Strep. "Blueberry Butterfly"

At a glance, it is very similar to Strep. "Blueberry Butterfly", but can be recognized by checking each detail of the flower. This hybrid survived for at least 2 years after I firstly tried the cross work on Streptocarpus. It seems this one is a foribunda if I can grow it well. So ... let's do it. XD

Chirita liboensis

There are several varieties within Chirita liboensis, I know both green leaf species and the silver veining one. The pictures here show the liboensis with compact green leaves.

Raspberry Crisp

One of my favorite violets, to show the clear contrast of the frilled raspberry edge, an obvious temperature difference is a must when growing this variety in Taiwan.

Nematanthus fissus

The flower of this species is very cute, it easily grows tall, in order to keep it shorter, I usually cut it when the stem is too long, then let it sprout again. Easy to grow and can bloom continually for a long period.
